Solo Parenting Community Group in Washington, DC
Are you parenting without a partner?
For solo parents, many of the messages emphasizing difficulty OR the resources focused on singleness miss the mark. What solo parents often need most is space to connect with others who are sharing their experience – to strategize, vent, and be witnessed (maybe even brag!)
If this resonates and you’re a parent of a kiddo(s) under 10 years old without a co-parent in the picture, this weekly community group is for you.
Every Thursday morning @ 10 - 11am
In person in Dupont Circle @ 20th & S Streets
Weekly resources and monthly kid-friendly potluck suppers
$280 / month (with option to pause for a month as needed) *
The group starts on August 6th. New members can join on the first Thursday of every month (space available). Topics addressed each week will skew towards what the group most needs, but will include:
How to build (and actually use) helpful support systems
Fitting in personal identity outside of parenting and work
Getting creative with childcare
Owning your narrative
Interested in joining the group?
The group is co-led with Ali Cherry. If interested, schedule a call to see if it’s a fit and ask questions. We’re looking forward to collaborating with and supporting you.
* If cost is a hurdle, let us know so we can make it work for you.
